I uncovered my passion for music during the late 1960's. Coffee houses and Folk music were all over the place. I bought myself a Martin guitar and learned to play. I started writing my own tunes and doing a few covers like an Oregon folksinger/musician does. The rest is history; I have not put down my guitar since.
I started out as a folk musician, a solo performer playing in towns all over Oregon and Washington. After a few years of that, I signed with a Seattle based agency. They decided I was good enough to be the lead singer in a country rock band and had us tour all over the mid-west. I have now come full circle and have returned to my first love; performing my original tunes as a solo entertainer and musician; Barbara Anne Oregon Folksinger. Yes! I finished my original CD in February of 2020: New Beginnings, Of course, it took some time to get it produced and receive the orders from the disc company, but I have them now.
